Wireless Technologies Paper Essay Example for Free

Wireless Technologies Paper EssayParty Plates Company has come to the conclusion that there is a need for a in the buff proposal for piano tuner technology. Our goal is to meet goals in technology advancement and to be up to date with our consumers and business associates. Our proposal will focus on wireless technology that will benefit the party plate business. Our team will also provide the pros and cons to our idea and justify our choices to incorporate them into Party Plates Company. In the proposal we will also include a spreadsheet presenting the equipment needed for using the technologies and the costs involved with the equipment. The wireless technologies that our team recommends for Party Plates Company are wireless fidelity and Laptops. WIFI is wireless technology that allows electronic devices to exchange data using radio waves. These radio waves are transmitted using an antenna called a wireless ingress point. (Rainer Jr Cegieiski, 2011) WIFI has the potential t o save Party Plates Company the cost of having wires installed throughout the company. Laptop technology consists of a small computer that is portable, you can access customer files from anywhere in the building that and also check inventory from the comfort of your home if needed. You will no longer be confined to your accountability or to any electrical cords. It also involves less wire tangling around your desk which could be a safety hazard. A laptop will allow a manager or supervisor communicate with staff, clients, and employees. WIFI and Laptops are reliable wireless technologies however, they also possess their own disadvantages. WIFI signals can be slack up depending upon how far you are from the router. This can delay the network speed, just like when too many people are using the service at the aforementioned(prenominal) time. The demands of a large number of users attempting to access a Wi-Fi network at once can tax the bandwidth capacity of the network, causing outages . (Blank, 1999-2012) There is also the line of security when using WIFI. Using this wireless technology makes it harder to control the content viewed, especially when personal computers can access the network. Laptops can typically be a more expensive technology than your normal desktop system. They can also pose a security drawback. Laptops now have cameras making it easy to imitation or transfer confidential information.Regardless of the drawbacks associated with these two devices, the ease of use, the availability, and the functions outweighs its flaws. We feel that both of these wireless technologies would work well for Party Plates Company. WIFI is easy to use, efficient, and flexible. Although there may be difficulties with security and network overload, if the WIFI is password protected and monitored these possibilities could be diminished. Laptops can be secure, efficient, and portable. The increased price for system upkeep and likely collisions are only small problems t o accurately control inventory and regulate sales.

THE SEGMENTATION, TARGETTING AND POSITIONING STRATEGY-5.1-SEGMENTING STRATEGY CCI focuses on Demographic segmentation1. Generational marketing CCI targets the youth of the country. Coca Cola started using Indian themes in order to appeal the Indian customers. They wanted to communicate with the youth. Considering that the Indian youth respected tralatitious Indian values coca cola created advertisements showing college students valuing their culture. This connection helped coca cola in creating its own personality with which Indian youth could relate itself and it resulted in the suitable positioning of the brand.2.Gender- CCI have different product range for different genders like for males there is Coca Cola, Thumps up, for females they have Fanta, for kids they have Maaza.3. R ural Market- The majority of Indian population i.e. (74%) lives in numerous villages scattered throughout the country. Estimates show that rural India accounts for 58% of Indian rural disposable income and 41% of middle class.5.2-TARGETING STRATEGY Coca Cola commercials basically target on young generations, because they want to represent Coca Cola with the youth and energy.Rural Market is also a very attractive target-In order to reach to the rural India, CCI had also launched television commercials targeting at rural population. This market covers 80% of Indias new coke drinkers.5.3 -POSITIONING STRATEGY CCIs first in Indian Market-5.3.1- Urban India-In order to target the metropolitan areas and large town audience, CCI captured the theme of Celebration and Joy of peoples, they showcases increasing social and economic status of the people in their television commercial (TVCs). This theme they applied for positioning their brand in urban market. Life ho toh aise (life as it should be) was very popular and successful tagline.5.3.2.-Rural India-Under it they have tapped the local entertainment like fairs and local festivalsThey increased their TVCs on Doordarshan (the local channel), designed to target rural customers. Its all rural marketing initiatives were well supported by TVCs.In 2002 CCI launched Chota Coke (Mini Coke) at Rs 5considering the pocket size of rural consumers.CCI communicated this price cut message with the help of TVC featuring leading Hindi movies star Amir Khan in rural settings to enable proper brand association because large number of people incite to emulate these celebrities. It will help in creating the right identity for the brand. Its tagline gained a lot of popularity Thanda Matlab Coca Cola (Cold Means Coca Cola)(You Tube, 2010)http//www.thaindian.com/images/stories/aamircoke.jpgExhibit Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola Advertising attempt6.-RECOMMENDATIONS-New Strategy- Rural market (MARKET IS CREATED AND NOT BORN)Rural consumers are incl ined more towards the home made drinks like Lassi, lemonade etc. So, we need to target them when they are out of their home and will need something to quench their thirst.Rural India with the average income of Rs 100/day, consider coca cola whose average price comes around Rs 10, as a luxury product .Moreover soft drinks categories are undifferentiated in the minds of rural consumers. The good news is that the rural consumer market which grew 25% in 2008 is expect to reach US$ 425 billion in 2010-11 with 720-790 million customers.1. As this market is not fully utilized, there lays a huge scope to reposition the brand in a more effective way to prove that CCI is the suitable brand meant for rural customers and there is a need to shift it from luxury relic category to every day product category.2. An appropriate marketing strategy is required, which is only possible by listening to consumers needs and requirements.Advertising Strategy-Looking at the tough competitors there is a need for aggressive marketing campaign.Announce a new campaign for CCI.In order to connect with the rural population, CCI should increase social welfare activities.Prior creating the ad ,following points should be kept in mind-Selecting an appropriate brand ambassador with which the rural population could relate itself with.Brand promotion by targeting folk and traditional culture. To think local we have to act local.Distribution Strategy-There is a need to extend CCIs distribution channel peculiarly in rural sector.Creating an Extended Distribution channel available all over India, it will provide support to TV commercials.Branding Strategy-There is a need to restructure the communication channel, which will bring open and honest views of the people (public, media, employees, suppliers, state and national government, channels). It is the only solution to resolve the issues in a way that it benefits the Indian consumers as well as CCI.

Features of Gender Inequality in the Workplace

Features of sexual activity In fitity in the WorkplaceIntroductionOver the recent few years, world has witnessed biggest recession in almost a century. Thus, its exposed that its reco genuinely would among other measures require best of genius, ideologies and innovation. It is thus more essential than earlier for nations and companies to fall in attention to one of the basic cornerstones of stinting development to them which is the skills and genius of their female hu valet resources. From being customers to voters, employees and employers, women play an important part of the worldwide economic rec everywherey. Even as, it is not just limited to financial and economic corpse which is requirement of restructuring, rethinking and reforming. Women make up of almost half the population and without their engagement, authorisation and involvement one cannot expect to efficiently meet these recent challenges nor attain quick economic recovery. The global gap between men and women still persists as there is still a lot of efforts to be taken in foothold of education, health, legislations and politics before women can be able counted in power with men. With the help of spherical Gender Gap Reports, for the last four years, the World frugal Forum has been able to quantify magnitude of sex-based disparities and has been tracking its progress over the years. This report has provided a nationwide fashion model for being able to benchmark global gender gaps. It reveals that the countries which atomic number 18 role models who see effectively divided resources between women and men. According to Global Gender GAP report till date, some of the multi-stakeholder communities of very influential leaders comprising of 50% women and 50% men from politics, business, academia, media and civil rules of order have mutually recognized the largest gaps in every region have affiliated to improve and enhance use of female talent through their strategies. Every individua l in the organization has collectively agreed to empower women, developing globally replicable frameworks and bridging the gap in the world and achieving gender parity. There are different views and perspectives through gender empowerment and equality is an important hump to be address to economically and optimally utilize human resources. From values and social justice point of view, empowerment of women and providing them with equal rights and opportunities for fulfillment of their capabilities has been repayable for a large time. From the business, economic and competitiveness point of view, aiming at gender parity is an essential requirement for progress.Measuring the Global Gender GapThe World Economic Forum introduced Global Gender Gap Index in the year 2006 which is framework to capture the magnitude and scope of gender based disparities and to constantly track the progress. This index is a standard for national gender gaps on economic, political, education and health based criteria and offers individual nation rankings which provide efficient comparisons across regions in the world. The main reduce of the rankings is creating awareness amongst the people across the globe of the challenges posed due to gender gaps and chances created by decreasing them. It is a straightforward method and quantitative analysis tush the rankings which serve as a base for designing efficient measures to decrease gender gaps. Basically there are three conceptions which underline the Global Gender Gap Index. Firstly, it concentrates on measurement of gaps instead of levels. Secondly, it captures gaps in terms of outcome variables instead of gaps in factor or input variables. Thirdly, it ranks individual country as per the gender equality instead of womens empowerment.Gaps vs. LevelsThe Gap index is designed to quantify gender-related gaps in access to resources and opportunities in individual nations instead of the actual levels of available resources and opportunities in those nations. The index is constructed to rank nations on their gender gaps and not on the development levels. Rich nations have more opportunities in terms of education and health for the society but it does not relate to gender-related issues being faced by every nation at their individual level of income.Outcomes vs. MeansThe second fundamental concept which underlies the Global Gender Gap Index is that it accesses nations based upon the outcome variables instead of their input measures. The main focus of the index is a snapshot of where a man and woman stand in respect to some basic outcome variables associated to fundamental rights like health, education, economic participation and political empowerment.Gender equality vs. Womens empowermentThe third feature of the gap index is that the ranking of nations is in accordance to their propinquity to gender equality instead of womens empowerment. The main focus here is on whether the gap between women and men in the selected va riables is declined, rather than whether women are winning battle of sexes.Gender Inequality at workplaceThe most prevalent issue being faced among the UK workforce is variety in the workplace since the beginning of the 21st century. Women have remained well below men in the terms of income due to latent prejudices related to sexuality in the modern British workplace, leading to major hurdle to greater political and cultural integrating of the society. Companies today have to adhere to the most relevant legislation for the development of their business and for the society on the whole. The public sector is able to depend on the Government for financing while private sector businesses have no such miscellanea of fiscal safety and are aware that their profit and loss are all in all dependent on their optimal utilization of resources which include human resources as well. The most significant indicator of a countrys competitiveness is in its human talent which includes the skills, e ducation and productivity of its workforce. Similar is the case in terms of a familiarity wherein the employees talent is their pillar. In most of the demonstrable world, women currently account for over half of the college and university graduates and in a lot of emerging economies, gender gaps in higher education decreasing at a fast rate. Women therefore exist of an impressive portion of the talent pool available to businesses presently. Over a period of time, a countrys competitiveness greatly depends on whether and to what extent the female talent is utilized. To maximize its effectiveness and competitiveness and development potential, every company must to strive to achieve gender equality which means give the women employees same rights, right and pay as the men for the same work. The government plays a vital role in helping to create the correct environment for enhancing womens economic participation, oddly through flexible maternity leave policies and childcare provisi on. Also, it is of primary importance for companies to create ecosystems where the best talent including male and female can flourish. The subsequent run into inequality at workplace should essentially adopt dualistic approach, by tracing both cause and effect of the issues of workplace gender inequality. This would involve comprehensive analysis of legislation, most suitable practice and human resources. Human Resource managers have become to comply within new legislations which prevent any variety of discrimination of the basis of gender discrimination which include Equal Pay Act, 1970.Equal Pay Act 1970The Equal Pay Act, 1970 refers that people must be paid equally or same regardless of their gender. It means an employee cannot be paid less than somebody else of the opposite sex for doingThe same work or identical work (legally known as like work.Different work which is of equal worth to the employer (also known as work of equal value)Pay dissimilarity at WorkplaceThere are man y ways in which pay discrimination can take place, examples of this includeWomen being appointed on lower pay rate than her male counterparts.Women on maternity leave are not given bonus received by other employees.Womens jobs are offered different job titles and grades in comparison to men doing similar type of work.Part-time employees, generally women, have no holiday or sick pay entitlements.Major companies across globe are recognizing the needs to identify potential and capabilities of women and are coming forward with equal opportunities at workplace to ensure this gender gap reduces across the globe. It is the need of the hour for Human Resource Managers to identify and recognize talents and skills based on capability of the individual irrespective of the gender for long term growth and development of the company. With a number of laws and legislations allowing women to have equal opportunities at the workplace, Human Resources managers in the companies must respect and comply within the rules framework to enhance the goodwill of the company. Goodwill of the company plays an essential role in the development of the business in the society and any kind of negative furtherance such gender discrimination would lead to the downfall of its market value. Thus, most of the companies are becoming socially responsible to ensure their reputation and goodwill is maintain in the corporate world. To illustrate, some policies companies have undertaken to promote equal opportunities for its staff let us briefly look at Marks and Spencers company policies. The company policy of Equal treatment for everyone states to encourage a working environment free from any kind of discrimination, victimization and harassment making sure that everybody receives equal treatment in every aspect of employment policies and practices irrespective of their gender, age, marital status or hours of work employing a workforce that reflects a diverse lodge serving and maximizing personal and commercial opportunities constantly monitoring and reporting the composition of the Companys workforce and reviewing changes in attitude and implementation of Company policy and in the end complying within the framework of legislation and rules of the government.ConclusionWomen are a major part of the human resource of an economy and a company and thus their empowerment and development is essential for the development of the economy. Several studies have confirmed that decreasing gender inequality improves productivity and economic development and that the economic advantages of reducing spine barriers to womens engagement in the workforce could be substantial. To illustrate, according to a research conducted recently, decreasing the male-female employment gap will have tremendous economic implications for developed economies boosting US GDP by about 9%, eurozone GDP by 13% and Japanese GDP by 16%. Decreasing the gender inequality in these nations could also play a vital role in addressing the future issues posed due to ageing population and increasing pension burdens. This means that companies would benefit from successfully integrating the female half of the available talent across their internal leadership structures. The studies which explored this aspect have displayed a positive correlativity among gender diversity on top leadership teams and a companys financial results. However, regardless of increasing evidence in relation to the significance of womens economic integration and even when the global economys dependence on knowledge industries and skillful workers increases, there still a lot of significant gaps in the job opportunities available to women and in regards to wages paid to women compared with the male colleagues. Talent and human capital are the essentials for economic growth and development and business leaders and policymakers should ensure that any kind of barriers to womens entry to the mainstream workforce are eradicated and that eq ual chance and opportunity rising to positions of leadership are offered within the companies. They are important factors for determining that companies and economy on the whole is utilizing its existing resources in most efficient and effective manner and also encouraging flow of talent in the future as well.

The Acts Of The Apostles A Book Report Religion Essay

The Acts Of The Apostles A Book Report Religion EssayINTRODUCTIONIn this book report, I am to a greater extent everywhereton to write on the Acts of the Apostles written by, Marshall I.H. I am alike going what view point and character Marshall used to write on the Acts of the Apostles.THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLESIn this book, Marshall presents the Acts of the Apostles through the affectionatenesss of Luke, who was travelling companion of the apostle Paul. Lukes desire in writing the book of acts is to give a true historical enumerate of the events, that took place in the early church. Marshall, states that acts has been confirmed as a source to be depended on historically.EYE WITNESSThe book of acts, and the acts of the Apostles were written by an eye witness. Marshall, notes that from Acts 1610 onwards, Luke writes in the first person plural form. Marshall, mentions in his book, that Lukes mention of one-on-ones, their positions in society, their tittles and surrounding have been proved to be true archaeologically. faultless INFORMATIONThere is a reference, in Acts 1212 of a prayer meeting place in the house of Marks mother, it is assumed thats where the believers and the apostles met for prayer. Luke, also writes about the life of Paul, from Pauls position as a Pharisee to an apostle of Christ. Luke, in his writing would often give a good account of the events that were taking place in the lives of the apostles and because the information is so accurate and has been proved to be true, Luke being present to watch and learn from the Apostles. Therefore, Lukes writing proves that it was not imagination or fiction but true and significant. Marshall, notes that even Mark new a lot about the growth of the church and the council of capital of Israel, Mark also was a travelling companion of Paul. Since the source of acts is Luke, who knew the disciples from their positions in society before they called to be apostle. When Luke interacted with the apostles, he foun d out a lot of information about the apostles and their individual life stories. Luke, also mentioned the label and positions of different people governing Israel and the surrounding areas, people like Gallio who governed Greece. Luke also writes about Agabus, who prophesied about a great famine, that would take place all over the world and this prophecy was fulfilled during the reign of Claudius Caesar.COMMERCELukes writing, also shows that commerce was truly present in the days of the apostles. Acts1611-15 tells us of Paul and his companions, sharing to a woman by the institute Lydia who was a purple merchant from the city of Thyatira. Lydias name is a reminder that Thyatira was located in the ancient kingdom of Lydia, a place that manufactured purple dyes.ANALYSISAny examination of the book of Acts is incomplete without some reference to Lukes original purpose for writing as preserve in Luke 11-4. Lukes first volume, the Gospel of Luke, is actually the real preface to Acts as well as the Gospel itself. The first thing that should be find is that Luke does indeed claim to be writing an accurate historical account of the life of Christ in the preface to his Gospel, and there is general agreement amongst scholars that Luke intends this educational activity to extend to his second volume. Carson, Moo and Morris have observed how some scholars say that those who claimed to be historians in ancient times were well kn knowledge for writing from their own biased agenda and therefore cannot be trusted to give an accurate historical account, but it should be noted that although it is true that some historians did write more fiction than fact, the best ancient writers were careful to give an accurate presentation of the facts in much the same way that would be expected of modern historians. Luke deserves to be placed amongst these ancient historians and only differs from modern historians because he does not set out to present every historical detail but is delib erately selective, choosing to melt off only on events relevant to the growth of the Church. Like the Gospel, the second volume of Lukes history is dedicated to Theophilus who is addressed as most excellent 11-3. Bruce observes how it has been suggested that because the name Theophilus means dear to God, it is simply being used by Luke to refer to the Christian reader in general, and not to a specific historical individual as such.10 However, Bruce continues to point out that this is unlikely for two reasons. Firstly, the use of the title most excellent suggests an individual c.f. 2326 243 2625, and secondly, the literary style in which Luke writes his dedication bears striking resemblance to other historical documents of antiquity. Those who regard the book of Acts as non-historical often point to the difficulties between the council of Jerusalem in Acts 151-29 and the writing of Paul in Galatians 21-10.19 Although Lukes account of the council is straightforward, the main difficult y arises when it is compared with what appears to be the same event as described by Paul in Galatians.20 In Galatians Paul is speaking about his second visit to Jerusalem after his conversion, but in Acts Luke says that it was his third.21 This difficulty has long been appreciate by biblical scholars and there are several explanations offered to resolve it.22 Bruce considers that the difficulties arise because the conditions are actually speaking about two entirely different occasions. He arrives at this conclusion by observing how the discussion reported by Paul in Galatians differs from Acts because it centres around missionary activity the issue of circumcision is only marginally alluded to and no mention is made of appeasing table fellowship amongst Jews and Gentiles.23 Probably the most significant difference between the conference of Galatians 21-10 and council meeting in Acts 151-29 is that the former was held in private while the latter was held publicly, before the Jerusa lem Church.24 Wainwright also agrees with Bruce in these differences and recognises a more consistent trope with Galatians 21-10 in Acts 1127-30.25CONCLUSIONIn my report of this book by Marshall I H, I agree to what the book says about the author of the book of acts that the author was Luke. I also agree to the fact that the information Luke gave about the lives and events surrounding the apostles is true and because he was a travelling companion of Paul, he knew a lot about the apostles from their position in society to their positions in the church.

The appeal of pathos and ethos in this essay did all the work for the opposing view. What is the best government agency to win an argument? Captain Ed will say it is to as quickly as possible ca ll the people whom one is arguing against lunatics (Captains quarter Blog 1). This is precisely what was done. When doing this the point that is being made is lost. It now has become a credibility issue. When writing an argument it is only logical to think the mean audience is the opposite view. Why would a writer blatantly attack its own audience? No the reader is trying to understand the other whim not get verbally assaulted.Logic is necessary in any kind of argument. With out it the reader will only become confused and tire of any further reading of the authors. Captain Ed excellently points out that, MMA and the rest of the lunatics seem to have overlooked one thing The Point is a commentary, an editorial that does not pretend to be news reporting. Sinclair advertises it as such. In effect, MMA seeks to condemn Sinclair for doing exactly what newspapers and broadcast stations have done for decades -- editorialize as owners see fit (Captains 1). This is an excellent example o f a well written logos appeal. It is true commentary is editorial and bias but not news. However, the position that was left out is really more important. These commentaries are aired during the local news. The local news is on every night for people to tune in and get a non bias report of what is going on around them. For Sinclair to force stations to air a biased commentary during the news is illogical.

Early Child Development Essay -- Child Development Psychology Sociolog

Early Child Development There are many key factors that play up to the role of early kid development, starting from before the child is nonexistent, until the child is a full grown baby. Bodily Processes of Reproduction There are numerous hormones in the human carcass that play key factors in allowing a human being to reproduce successfully.Spermatogenesis Spermatogenesis is the 65 to 75 day process in which the human male course produces sperm cells. In the male body, follicle-stimulating hormones, or FSH, and leutinizing hormones, or LH, are very important in the process of spermatogenesis. These hormones control sperm reproduction. The production of the hormones testosterone and androgens are aflame by the leutinizing hormones. During this process, the follicle-stimulating hormones motivate the testes to produce sperm. The development of the sperm takes place in twisted tubules called seminiferous tubules. Mitosis occurs, in which the diploid cells multiply t hemselves constantly. Then, day by day, at least 3 million of these cells begin to undergo meiosis, where the number of doubled chromosomes is reduced in half by dividing the cell over and over again. In order for the first phase of Meiosis to begin, the cell must become a primary spermatocyte. After this has occurred, the diploid cell, which has 46 chromosomes, split into two haploid secondary spermatocytes, each containing only 23 chromosomes. In the next phase of Meiosis, Meiosis II, the two cells split, again, forming four cells also consisting of 23 chromosomes, and the cell undergoes the change in order to perform its more specialized function for reproduction. This production takes place in the male gonads, also known as the testes. Oogenesis Oogenesis, also called ovigenesis, is the process in which the female anatomy produces egg cells. The egg cell is made up of three layers a jelly coat, the vitelline layer, and the egg cells plasma membrane. A hormone called gonadotr opin releasing hormone, or GnRH, control the production of the follicle-stimulating hormones and the leutinizing hormones that, as stated above, are also found in the male body. The process of oogenesis is akin to spermatogenesis. Although produced by the leutinizing hormones, the androgen hormones control the levels of FSH, GnRH, as well as the LH. Oogenesis begins before bi... ..., M.D., F.A.A.P., Robert, (2001) Alcohol and Drugs During Pregnancy.
